Mis-sold Shares handled a claim of mine in 2013 under the Financial Services Compensation Scheme in respect of Wills & Co Stockbrokers. I am entirely satisfied with the excellent service they provided. I have no hesitation in recommending them to others who may need to make a similar claim.

Mr. Taylor - 22nd Nov 2013
Claim Amount: £2,199
I purchased some shares in a South American gas and oil we'll through Wills and co in 1999.
The salesman was very pushy and made some very promising statements and assurances of the future prosperity of this company. I was sceptical but invested £2000 on the strength of a reputable name of Wills & co recommendation.
Within a year I received information that the shares had become worthless.
I put it down to a bad error of investment by myself and vowed to be more carefully in the future, but it has nagged me for the last couple of years, especially on receiving regular statements reminding me of their nil value.
Earlier this year I received a letter out of the blue from miss sold shares, at first I thought it was just another circular. But on reading into it I realised it was the answer to a problem that had concerned me for some time I contacted miss-sold shares and told them my tale of woe.
I was very surprised to be informed that they thought I had a very sound case for reimbursement.
I talked with one of their personnel giving all the information I could.
A form duly arrived from the FSCS and with their help I filled it in and a couple of months later I have been paid out the full amount.
I don't know how the company got hold of me in the first place, but I am glad they did and can recommend their professionalism in dealing with myself and most of all the result.
